The 3rd Annual Langley Correspondence is a knockout round robin tournament for players in BC and Washington, played through the chess.com website.

TOURNAMENT DETAILS

Dates: Tournament begins on October 1, 2015 at 1:00AM PST and continues until all games are complete.

Details: Knockout round robin. Time control: 2 days per move.

Who: Chess players residing in BC or Washington. Your chess.com profile must display your Province or State.

Pairings: Players are put into groups of 7. The top three players from each group advance to the next round. With maximum players there should be three rounds in total.

Maximum number of players: 28

Games: All round robin games start at the same time. Expect between 8 and 12 new games.

Tournament Director: Andrew Hoyer

Players must have a chess.com account (free sign-up). Please note that free accounts can only participate in one tournament at a time, so if you want to play this one, be sure you qualify (have no ongoing tournaments, or upgrade your account). All game administration, results, etc, will be handled via the online site.

FREE entry. See “Register” section below. Must register by September 29.

PRIZES

No prizes. Play for the fun of it, and to become the Langley Correspondence Champion!

You will receive a tournament invitation on chess.com, so you must be able to accept invitations (check your settings).
